IDM Distributes Three Thousand Food Packages to Residents in the Borobudur, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko Areas
InJourney Destination Management is fulfilling its social commitment by distributing 3.000 basic food packages to underprivileged families in the Borobudur Temple, Prambanan Temple, and Ratu Boko Palace areas on Friday, March 6, 2026. The program, titled "Together, Creating a Meaningful Ramadan," aligns with Islamic values in helping the poor and vulnerable. poor as a manifestation of gratitude and the obligation to help each other.
InJourney Destination Management President Director Febrina Intan, accompanied by other directors, handed out food packages at Rakai Pikatan Field in Prambanan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Meanwhile, PT Taman Wisata Borobudur Operations Director Supriadi Jufri handed out food packages to residents in the Borobudur area at the Borobudur unit office.
This regular program, held annually to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, also serves as a way to meet the needs of underprivileged families and orphanages in the Borobudur Temple, Prambanan Temple, and Ratu Boko Palace areas. The food packages distributed include rice, cooking oil, sugar, tea, instant noodles, soy sauce, and biscuits.
InJourney Destination Management's Main Commissioner, Muhammad Tri Andika, said that momentum is the best time to strengthen ties. brotherhood (brotherhood) with the communities surrounding the company and destinations. This aligns with efforts to create impact within the community.

The aid distribution targets 3.000 families spread across four sub-districts in two provinces, Yogyakarta Special Region (DI Yogyakarta) and Central Java: Prambanan Sub-district, Sleman, comprising Bokoharjo and Sambirejo Villages; Tamanmartani Village in Kalasan Sub-district, Sleman; Prambanan Sub-district, Klaten, comprising Tlogo, Bugisan, Kebondalem Kidul, Kokosan, and Pereng Villages; and Borobudur Sub-district, Magelang, Central Java.

Prambanan Sleman Sub-district Head Purwati said that this assistance is one proof of IDM's support for the local residents in the Prambanan Temple destination area.
"We, as representatives of the residents, express our gratitude to IDM. This demonstrates the management's commitment to the well-being of the residents around Prambanan Temple," he explained.
One of the Bokoharjo residents who received benefits, Erni Setyawati (51 years old) said that this assistance could ease the burden on residents in preparing for their needs ahead of Eid.
"This assistance can help reduce residents' expenses for Eid al-Fitr. Hopefully, this assistance will be felt even more by residents around the destinations," he explained.
In addition, assistance was also provided to social organizations, including the Daarul Ihsan Bokoharjo Orphanage, Prambanan Sleman, the Brayat Al Falah Borobudur Orphanage, Fatimah Azahra and the Khoirunnisa Orphanage, Berbah, Sleman.
"Ramadan teaches us to feel for others' hardships. This is our commitment to continue working hand in hand with the community to create a tourism ecosystem that is impactful and empowering for humanity," continued Febrina Intan.
InJourney Destination Management also presents the Free Homecoming program with BUMN 2026, in collaboration with the 2026 BUMN, through the "Safe Homecoming Sharing Hope 2026" initiative. IDM provides 100 bus seats from the starting point in Jakarta to the final destination in Yogyakarta. This routine activity is expected to contribute to the smooth and safe running of the national homecoming program.
During the month of Ramadan 1447 H, InJourney Destination Management has conducted social service activities at the Daarul Ihsan Bokoharjo Orphanage, Prambanan, Sleman, the Brayat Al Falah Borobudur Orphanage and the Khoirun Nisa Orphanage, Berbah, Sleman. The assistance distributed was in the form of basic necessities such as rice, instant noodles, milk, cooking oil, and iftar meals as well as educational assistance. Activities in order to foster a sense of togetherness in creating a Meaningful Ramadan were enlivened by various exciting activities, including a coloring competition for elementary school children and a young preacher competition (pildacil).
IDM also distributed 2000 packages of breaking fast food (takjil) for residents around the company and shared takjil for 400 congregants at four mosques around the company, namely the Nurul Falah Karang Mojo Mosque, the Nurul Huda Sambirejo Mosque, the Dawung Bokoharjo Mosque and the Al Kautsar Tlogo Mosque, Prambanan, Klaten.
"This is a motivational discourse for our children, encouraging them to be more enthusiastic. We believe that this situation is nothing, because God will change it if we choose to change it. We express our gratitude for this extraordinary friendship, and we hope it will lead to good deeds together," explained Triyono, the caretaker of the Daarul Ihsan Bokoharjo Prambanan Orphanage.
Meanwhile, one of the Daarul Ihsan students, Syahrul Fahrudin, said that this program was very useful and made him happy.
"We at the orphanage are very happy with the activities that make us happy and entertain us. Thank you for all the help and appreciation you've given us. I hope this isn't the last event. I hope we can meet again in the future," he explained.
